I liked the feeling of smooth legs. I shaved frequently, with blonde sparse hair. Now I have them all the time -- no shaving...
It really is a personal preference, and Im happy to be married to a man who could care less if I shave or not. By the way -- I don't consider shaving "grooming"... grooming is cleanliness and being sanitary... shaving is a choice.
My late wife was from Italy and shaved nothing. Didn't bother me in the least and I never made the slightest issue out of it. If a woman wants to go "natural", that's her business. If it grosses anyone out, then don't look.
Not as conscientious in winter time as in the summer. Seems my "fur" goes into a slight dormant state in the winter. Not so lucky in the warmer and much sunnier weather of summers.
Doesn't bother me that spouse has beard and mustache. As long as it's not prickly, I'm good.
I had extensive surgery a month ago and was unable to shave anything, it was really embarrassing at my first follow up appointment, especially since it was with a plastic surgeon who I presume typically sees perfectly manicured and coiffed patients! I had no idea that leg hair could grow so long.
Why do you think women started shaving their legs, and continue to do so? Look at how many women are saying it's because of men. Women have less body hair then men, but it's certainly there, and it takes time and effort to be "naturally" hairless. I certainly don't want to shave places I never wanted to shave, but I also don't want to be called "disgusting", either.
Cool to see so many women that don't bother with the shaving. It's only been the last 100 years that it became 'fashionable' for women to be hairless on the legs and pits. Just like it's been only the last 130+ years that men started cutting their hair short as an expectation.. which is equally lame an expectation.
Women should not feel pressured to shave anywhere neither should men be expected to have short hair.
so all the non shavers - ya'll single??? I cannot imagine getting out of bed in the morning and the light shines on my hairy legs and my partner sees it.
I'm not single. And he's as bleary-eyed as I am first thing in the morning. LOL

In the 25 odd years we've been together, my husband has literally seen every inch of my outsides, and part of my insides (watched the c-section when our daughter was born). He's seen more of me than I have. As well as seeing me at my best all dolled up, he's seen me at my physical worst - ill, injured, crying, vomiting, bleeding... And I've seen him as well.
I have very fine, sparse hair. I've never shaved my legs. Didn't need to. One of my daughters is like me. My youngest however is very hairy, courtesy of her partial mestizo ancestry. she will have to shave regularly.
I shave every day in the shower, winter and summer. My body hair is light and fine, and I wouldn't need to, but I do anyway...I like the super smooth feel.
