I have above average and plump lips.

I don't know if I am going crazy, but it seems like they change size all the time. For example in the morning they seem like they are significantly bigger, but later on in the day they seem to be smaller and better looking.

Part of it I think is I am losing weight, so maybe less fat on my face makes them look bigger?

But every time I look at the mirror they seem to be a different size depending on the time of day (and sometimes different shape).

My sister also has big lips like me and she told me that she also feels the same. Her husband laughs at her telling her it's impossible that we are both imagining things, but I swear it feels like they change.

Anyone else experience this?

Maybe it's linked to your daily intake of salt. Think: swelling of ankles, etc.

You didn't say how old you are so I'm guessing you might be in your 40's or thereabouts?? Lips start changing in the 40's. Be happy that you presently have above average and plump lips and make the most of their fullness now because as you continue to age your lips are going to thin and shrink to near non-existence by the time you are in your mid 60's and onwards. The older you get after menopause, the thinner they get more rapidly.

It's no different than people waking up with puffy eyes or puffy face that eventually goes away.

My lips get bigger when I'm having an allergic reaction, and smaller once the swelling goes down after the reaction, sometimes a day or two later. I think you'd know if that was the problem though because there would probably be other symptoms.

Men's lips thin with age too and you are at exactly the right age for it to start becoming more noticeable in men. Here are a couple of articles about the reason why everyone's lips thin with age:

Why Do Lips Thin With Age?

And, yes, men also go through a male form of menopause. Here is an explanation of why and what the symptoms are:

None of us, male or female, are exempt from the ravages of time.

My lips seem to swell a little depending on what I eat, the only other known symptom is nasal. I would look into foods (late- night or breakfast), chapstick, or the pillowcase as the culprit of early-morning swelling.
