I was wondering what women think about smaller-torso's on men.

What I mean by torso is all the bone structure above the waist, below the neck;

rib-cage size, shoulder/back width, spinal/back length, arm length and size etc.

I had never stopped to wonder whether it was my torso that may be too small!

I don't think they are less attractive necessarily because of that. Personally, I am not very attracted to "small" men. By small I mean someone that is petite in most ways. Short, thin, small feet and hands, etc... of course it doesn't make them less of a man, just that there is someone ideal out there for them, and it's not me.

I like small men...always have. How I ended up with one 6'3" tall I will never know. As long as it's proportionate - he's not a body builder with a 44 inch chest and 24 inch hips - I think necks are good too....lol! I always dated/married smaller men. This last one was just a quirk or something...he's a doll, but I look at him and know he definitely wasn't what I was looking for on the outside, but the inside surely made up for it.

After reading this post last night, I talked to a few people about it and they all said the same thing. Their replies were that taller men and larger frame structure, larger hands, etc, give them more of a sense of security in many ways, where someone 'smaller framed' would make them feel less secure, and many of my friends like to wear high heels, something that might be awkward when it turns out youre taller than the guy by doing so. Most girls prefer to look 'up' to a guy rather than 'down' or even in some cases, at eye-level. One person told me her reason for bigger hands, so she doesnt feel like shes holding hands with a kid. (But shes a tall person anyway with a keychain thing that says 'size matters' on it). So there are many variations of reasons for what people prefer and why.
Im keeping my own answer to myself though.

No honey youre not less attractive. Im just attracted to peeps my size 5'10" and taller and I like them a little fluffy like Huz. Just personal preference due to insecurities on my part. No reflection on youse. Im sure you'll meet a nice girl your size who thinks youre just lovely the way you are.

I think the perfect match up is someone about 3" taller. Just enuf so I can wear heels and still be the same height or shorter. Ive been married forever so I havent dated in a LONG while. So Im trying to remember from way back when.

What I don't like is when a man's upper arm is too short. I mean a person's elbow should hit about at his waist. Otherwise it looks out of proportion to me.

When we are standing, or dancing, I like to put my head around the level of his chin, not his nipples or belt buckle.

And of, course, every thing should match. No knuckles dragging the ground, or arms so short that they can't reach around me.
