I'm pretty tough on anything around my wrist as I'm a bit of a klutz and will frequently knock my arm against something when I walk by.
I wear a Timex. It's my alarm clock and I check it frequently for the date.

I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one who doesn't wear a watch.

Samsung gear S3... love it. I'm normally not a watch guy but if i'm gonna spend any money, might as well get a functional one.

My other watch was gifted by my father-in-law. Longines Master Collection automatic watch.

Citizen Eco-Drive Titanium Chronograph Perpetual Calendar. Bought it some 10 years ago for $260. Only set the calendar once, never needs any battery change.

It looks sporty but not garish. Titanium case and band are very lightweight compared to stainless. I expect the watch to outlive me at this point.

I don't wear it daily. It was useful when I was commuting by bus or train, but now that I don't it's not necessary.

I didn't realize they still sold watches ! Haven't worn one in years , since cell phones came out. I have about 4 or 5 watches in a drawer, all with dead batteries, because they have been laying unused for so long.

I think a lot of people are the same way, because if you ask someone what time is it is, they usually pull out their phone to look at it.

Is none of the above a suitable response?

I gave up wearing watches about the time I got my first smart phone. I consider them about as necessary as getting the daily newspaper delivered. Something else I stopped doing about 10 years ago.

I do own a Tag and an antique pocket watch. I just never wear them anymore.

But I get it. Some people still like wearing watches.

I have a G-Shock (Giez) watch that is analog only, solar, and atomic. Have been wearing it for about 7 years, and even with my clumsiness, repairing stuff, it just keeps working. Couple of scratches on the crystal. I like looking at new watches, and maybe after 30+ years as an aviator, it would be neat to get a pilot watch.

I like just looking at my wrist and seeing the time. Never been fond of pulling out my phone to see the time.
