I liked most if them. But I have never liked Lucille Ball’s style. Wasn’t Rita Hayworth beautiful? She’s a joy to watch in old movies. As is Ginger Rogers who was extremely talented and wore her clothes beautifully, even in the 1930s when some outfits were not that great.

I loved seeing Audrey Hepburn’s costumes in the movie Funnyface. If you ever get a chance to watch it, do it for the fashions and Fred Astaire. The dancing is great too.

I love vintage fashions. Not that I wear them, but I love looking in old magazines and books. So stylish.

I watched My Sister Eileen a night or two ago. Rosalind Russell could wear a hat!

Hairstyles were kind of hard to take though.

A couple of those aren't suited to the figures wearing them. Audrey Hepburn's dress, for example. It seems way out of character for her. Some of the styles, the sweaters especially, have never gone out of still, and aren't uncommon today. Wide-leg pants are currently fashionable, too, though the skinny-leg craze still dominates.

Throughout my life I've never cared for plaid, and I don't like the dress on Judy Garland at all. Love that photo of Natalie Wood, though ~ and I do love black turtlenecks. Love the photo of Sophia Loren, too.

My favorite outfit is on Rita Moreno, followed by the pants outfits on Tierney, Stanwyck, and Kelley (Grace was so beautiful!).

I'll take Natalie Woods' striped pants. And the wasp-waist on all of them!
