Eh, I wouldn't wear them to a dinner party on my head, but at work? I'd not think too hard about it.

When I was on a vacation in France about 3 years ago, I heard someone comment in a restaurant that you could always tell the Americans because they wore their glasses on top of their heads, and his companion agreed that it looked silly. It didn't sound complimentary but it didn't phase me one way or another (or stop me from doing it either).

do whatever is comfortable & practical, at work. Outside of work, still do whatever is most comfortable. I have never heard it referred to as dorky.

YUP. You're paranoid. period. !!!! maybe even a people pleaser, afraid to buck "a trend" ??????? this isn't a cosmetic defect that labels you for life darlin'.... it's a pair of glasses required for your work, get over what any people say about what you do, wear, look like, work, who you date, who you will vote for in a month, just follow your own heart and do what is best for you and opinions of others be damned!!!! get a little gumption darlin' !!!!!!! go from scaredy-cat to glorious gazelle leaping across that ridiculous landscape of " to be or not to be" dorky!!!!!

So some dork decides it's worse to wear glasses perched on your head than to wear them on a keeper cord around your neck when you don't need them? What earthly difference does it make as long as long as you know where to find them?

Whenever I need some comic relief from life the trivia discussed on this subforum usually provides it.

LOL, indeed.

I wear mine on the top of my head when shopping. Only need them for up close reading, so can't wear them all the time, Mr. Dork.

I see it a lot with sunglasses. A lot of people will do it especially if they’re wearing a hat.

I wear my readers on the top of my head when I don't need them.

But if I could only remember they are there, perched on my head, when I am going through my purse looking for them.

Certified dork and proud of it.

Well, call me dorky. I do this all the time. Who makes these rules, anyway?
