I think Melania is a very nervous, self conscious person. She never seems relaxed or comfortable and I don't think it has ANYTHING to do with her clothes.
Sorry, I'm not a Trump fan and I think that he is very controlling and demanding.
I am guessing from what I've seen with the way he talks to other people, that he can be sarcastic and very demeaning towards her.
If I'm correct, (and nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors,) that is what Melania lives with every day. I think she's afraid of stepping out of line... HIS line, more than anyone else's.
Melania look great, as usual. It would be difficult to have that many eyes on you ALL the time.
The French first lady proves the first two theorems of aging well: Be slim, and have up-to-date hair. Most of the other women in that photo are probably her age, but they look more like typical Women of a Certain Age because they are overweight and have old-lady hair.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.
Mrs. Macron even looks better than the young woman next to her because of her hairstyle and wardrobe choice.
I disagree with the posters who criticized Melania's choice of outfit. She is by far more stylish than all of the other first ladies. She had the confidence to choose a dress that's out of the norm. Black is the boring tried and true. IMO, Macron's wife is dowdy and ho-hum. Her hair is dowdy and ho-hum. Certainly nothing that says confidence and stylishness. And the striped leather jacket she was wearing when she was sitting next to Putin is ugly.
I don't like that grey dress on Melania at all, it just fits her funny.
I think Melania gets things a size too small pretty often, which makes the fit less flattering. It doesn’t fit her proportly at the hips. But I think it might be a stylish dress with the proper fit, I like the old school elegance of it.
I also like the French first lady’s second coat.

That’s comical. There’s absolutely nothing dowdy about Mme. Macron’s look.

I think she looks chic. Her clothes are always nicely fitted. I would give her hair some lowlights and add five or ten lbs and I think she would look even better. But she looks good, Trump even awkwardly complemented her appearance. He probably thinks she is ancient in woman-years so he was impressed.

I am doubting you follow fashion, for some reason.
Melania wears plenty of pieces (the grey dress included) that are good, quality pieces. They just seem ill-fitting or like she's not comfortable wearing them. It's more like the clothes wear her.
She is not an unattractive woman at all and she has a great figure, even with the boob enhancements.
She just needs to wear stuff SHE likes. And, I do not think she does.

I have never seen a dowdy Parisian, not even the homeless.
Neither have I.
