I thought the First Ladies should have their own fashion thread.

I think that grey dress Melania is wearing makes her look sort of frumpy. And French First Lady Brigitte Macron, is 65!? She sure looks good for an old lady. I like her in her black outfit, too - very chic!

Dior. No one ever said fashion was actually attracting. It is fashion, no?

That WAS a frumpy dress on Melania.

And Macron's wife is not old, 80 is old....

The cut of that Dior dress is really, truly unflattering. Makes Melania's hips look enormous.

I like Brigitte's outfits. Very flattering. She looks comfortable in her clothes.

Melania often looks like she's in a costume, not in clothes she likes.

I was going to say exactly the same things.

I think Melania is very uncomfortable in her role as First Lady so she dresses as if she were playing a part in a play.

That's it! i never could put my finger on what looked odd about her. She wears beautiful fashions, but they never look quite right on her.

It's the cloths that whoever is dressing her, feels they fit the role for that moment. In particular, I loved when they put her in a Pith Helmet for her Africa tour. OR never been worn before work boots, and jacket for touring hurricane struck areas.
