I haven't bought Cetaphil Cleanser in a while, but I went to buy it today and noticed the packaging had changed. I brought it home and tried it and it is NOT the same. It used to be creamy colored and fragrance free. Now it is clear and has a smell to it. I read the label and it said "masking fragrance."
I'm really pissed. Why change a good thing. Those morons. I'm returning the bottle tomorrow!
I love my Cetaphil cleanser. I started using it a couple of years ago and it is the best I've used. I use Pond's cucumber cleanser whenI have makeup on and the cetaphil in the morning. The moisturizer is my absolute favorite. I am a die-hard cetaphil user!
There are several different Cetaphils now...the one's that have the scents puzzle me because many times a person using Cetaphil is sensitive to fragrances on the skin...silly.
My gosh, you are right. They have "Gentle Skin Cleanser" (original formula) and "Daily Facial Cleanser" (smells funny). I'm gong to try and take mine back and exchange for the original formula.
Those jerks! They had a good thing going. Why try to confuse everyone? I hate them now.
I have been using it for a week now and I am breaking out...Does anyone know if this is a good product for mild acne?
I don't like it at all because it breaks me out worse than anything. I like biore icy face wash for breakouts as of lately(it has a pump too) or neem soap and aloe gel.
Cetaphil Cleanser is not for oily or acne prone skin. Check our www.cosmeticscop.com for the best skincare for your skin. I would try Paula's Choice from the website or Gentle Hydrating Cleanser by Eucerin or Cool Moisture Foaming Facial Cleanser by Dove.

I like the Cetaphil "Gentle Cleanser" for winter because my face gets dry and chapped from the cold. Other cleansers seem to strip the oil off my skin and make it more dry.
For acne, I use Tazorac (Spelling?) which I mix with a moisturizer.
