I've seen some. The problem is I'm petite and a little on the chunky side lol. Sometimes medium fit or it ends up being a bit baggy on me

I wear the tanks all winter under shirts and tees. They fit close to the body and don’t ride up. The tank has a nice wide neckline, but if you need wider there is another model that would work. These are cotton, and comfy. They wash well. They work fir warmth because they fit so closely. But they don’t feel tight.

Lands End makes a synthetic line of under wear for outdoor sports. I have two of their tanks and they are silky and warm, but the necklines are two narrow for wearing with tees. However, they have new styles and they might work for you. If they are warm enough fior skiing, they should be warm enough for most other uses.

The warmest / softest fabric is merino wool.
Expensive, but does the job.

Try Damart, they are very warm, much warmer than you might expect given the lack of bulk.

Under a tight fitting sweater would work. I like wearing something underneath as a layer like some guys do under their shirts. A long sleeve base layer under a sweater might make my arms feel too heavy like a penguin lol Or get too hot
