I would like to know, what is your best recent deal on a clothing purchase you have made recently?
I recently bought a teal fleece sweatshirt from Stein Mart for under $10 that normally retails for $25-$35, and this wasn't even a clearance or past season item. Unlike T.J. Maxx, Ross, or Marshalls, Stein Mart usually sells surplus current season items (rather than past season) plus a few items made specifically for them.
About a month ago, I bought two pairs of denim shorts (two different styles) online from Banana Republic. They were listed under clearance at $14 each, but when I put them in my cart, they showed up as $7 each because they were taking an extra half off clearance.
So, I paid $14 + shipping, total of $21, for two pairs of shorts. My total savings off the original price was $126. That's about the best deal I've ever gotten on new clothing. And I love the shorts! I'm wearing one pair right now.
Glad to see you're finally diversifying your portfolio.
Not all my shirts are pink or are spring clothes. I bought three fall pieces this year - a hunter green polo, a lightweight maroon 1/4 zip pullover, and the teal fleece sweatshirt. This past spring I have bought three purple shirts (two pique polos, one being lilac and one dark violet, and an interlock polo in a medium violet), a turquoise interlock polo, a striped light green pique and interlock polo, and a medium blue interlock polo and T-shirt.
Four pair of like brand-new clogs from www.shopgoodwill.com. One pair of Dansko's was $10 with penny shipping.
Chico's 100% cashmere cowl-neck sweater and faux leather front leggings on ebay. Both less than $30. Eileen Fisher sandals - brand new for $25, retail $248.
Sephora Black Friday palette for $25. Nordstroms Rack-Eileen Fisher Slew bootie in brown.
I buy my own anniversary/birthday/xmas presents, so I've been busy.
They are having the best black friday sale ever - 3 items for $210. Considering one of the jackets I wanted was $210 and the other was $160. And I got a cashmere blemd seeater dress that was $160 for the price of the original item I wanted. Felt like a score to me.
12 silk scarves for gifts, 1 baby outfit (gift), 3 pairs designer pants (mine), 1 skirt, 3 Ralph Lauren sweaters, 2 dressy tops, 1 blazer, 6 dresses all for about $350.00 at the going out of business sale at Lord and Taylor. The cheapest purchase in that bunch was a designer black velvet dress for $7.00 and the most expensive was a beautiful tea length dress originally priced at $1200.00 marked down to $70.00 (also a gift). This was purchased over two 6 hour shopping marathons. With the exception of the $1200.00 dress, everything was buy one get one free.
Had an issue at Kohl's, by the time all was said and done, my free (from Kohl's Cash) top became 2 tops and a $7.68 Gift Card.
That is what I call a bargain!
