I have been growing out my hair recently and while it's not that long yet when it does get longer I want to know if there's anyway a guy can tie his hair up without looking like some damn hippie/hipster lol. Certainly not going for that horrid "man bun" look either.

Women are lucky, they can just put it in a pony tail and never have to worry how it looks.

Maybe a low ponytail at the back of the neck. Or just cut your hair if it's getting in your way.

If you don't have the balls to sport that hairstyle, do you expect to do with this thread? Your insecurity will scream from distance.

Also, women absolutely have to worry how it looks, as most look -uhm- suboptimal with that hairstyle. But in the grand scheme of clothing travesties they get away with at the workplace, it's the least offense, anyway.

Bottom line - do what you want and don't seek preapproval , least of all from your colleagues, friends or family.

For all you know, next year you might be getting bald. Do you want to live with the regret you never tried it while you had a chance?

Of course, given how absurdly far positive discrimination against women has gone, be prepared for some unwanted comments from lots of women, as they sure feel entitled to broadcast it
They know very well you can't tell them sh*t , especially not at work, so be prepared for countering with the same weapon - use HR terms like hostile workplace, inappropriate comments, etc. and closely watch their face expression.

Like Mastercard. Priceless

Look, you like your long hair so learn to handle it. IMO there isn’t amything wrong with a man bun.

If it is too much trouble to handle, cut your hair.
