Never tan! Stopped tanning at 18 when I noticed the women who played golf at the club had wrinkled up skin whereas my grandmother who was 30 years older than they did not - she wore a hat and gloves out in her garden!

I use self tanning lotion - especially on my legs. Lightly on arms.

I used to tan at all costs - did everything when I was young- slather on baby oil, mineral oil, lie on the hood of a car, anything and everything to tan. I would say around 20 I stopped that and I started using a strong sunblock. I am now 39 and I have taken very good care of my skin and no wrinkles yet. I am a runner and I am outdoors a lot and use sunblock all the time. I use a self tanner or tinted moisterizer for color. My dad who never used sunblock-lifeguarded during the summer for years and is also a runner got skin cancer a few years ago. Luckily he is ok-that taught him to always use sunblock and take the proper precautions.

I used to play "sun goddess" - I'm really fair and really think I look better with some color - but as I've gotten older I've toned it down - I do get some natural tan, but I do the sunless on legs.

Im 21 and if I want to tan, I only sun tan. I dont over do it. A couple days each summer. I like to jog and bike so I get most of my sun that way. I dont believe in sitting in a microwave at a tanning salon, and I refuse to dye my skin with sunless tanners. Naturally or not at all. : )

I do not "tan" in beds, but do get out in the sun during the summer...used sun screen (I use one that is a heat activated self-tanner at the same time..spf 15). The foundation I use has a sunblock and I don't really tan on my face - 57 years old and hardly any wrinkles (I use good skin care). I am naturally dark though, some think I have a tan in the early summer when, actually, I haven't even been in the sun. Don't burn easily either.

I think tanning beds are very bad...I've heard that doctors are seeing more skin cancer in "private" areas that could only have rec'd exposure from nude tanning in the beds.

I use a little bit of Jergen's sunless tanner because I do not tan evenly. I think I put a little bit on maybe.. once a week? Other than that, I have outdoor activities that lead to my semi-tan look. As far as trying to really get a tan, nah.

I am not tan and am about as lily white as you can get. I have been told I have porcelain skin or a peaches and cream complexion. I used to try and try and try to be a dark skinned goddess when I was younger. Roasting under the sun, going to tanning beds, etc.; I did it all. I ended up looking like something off of a Red Lobster commercial!

After I had to have three pre-cancer things cut off or out I gave it all up and just pretend to like looking like I am one shade off a bag of flour.

No, I don't tan on purpose. My skintone is naturally tan somewhat. And then just from being outside no matter what sun protection lotion I use, I still get tan. What's up with that?

I do NOT tan. First of all, I like being pale. Secondly, so weird, I just tonight was reading about this woman, only tanned at the beach, nothing major - dead from melanoma at 29 (her name was Ellen Gray)!!
