That being said though, I don't know why people are so googly eyes over regular Polo Ralph Lauren. When I was in my twenties I was into it but I know better now. I did hold a flame for RRL for a minute but I think it costs entirely too much and its a lot of marketing. I'm not going to pay good money for something that looks like it's 100 years old and lost in a trunk in my grandmother's attic.
This is the EXACT reason that I LOVE RRL

This thread got me to thinking...."whatever happened to the leather goods and accessories brand Etienne Aigner? As I remember things, 15-20 years ago, I saw them featured much more.

I think Tommy Hilfiger is a great person.

My husband's restaurant caters his private plane.

Mine too at that time. I guess I moved on.

But I must confess. I had a nice pair of worn out cotton pants back then I found for $120 that had the stripes looks like something out of the 1920s just not wool. This must have been like back in 95 I purchased them. Never found anything like that since then.

Okay I'm still not all in on Nautica but I found a sale at Nordstrom Rack and I'm back in. At least as far as a coat is concerned. The price was too good to pass up.

And for laughs and giggles I did see a teenager wearing a Tommy Hilfiger jacket today so they are officially back. But it was discrete and classy. Actually sort of jealous.

That's all I have to say for now this crow I'm eating is getting cold so carry on.

In early 2019, P&G's sales plummeted when a marketing leader decided it would be a good idea to criticize it's base by lecturing them on how to avoid being a toxic male.

By the summer, said sales leader had been terminated and sales increased once a new line of "I'll Be Back" products, based on the life and times of Arnold Schwarzenegger, was introduced in late 3Q19, just in time for Christmas.

Members Only was a brand I though died a generation ago. But evidently it's been reborn, as I've seen their jackets in good off-price stores like Saks Off Fifth. I remember when they were the coolest thing around a young guy could wear. The one I saw on a rack, however, was definitely a major yawn. I do wonder who is buying them now though. I guess nostalgic Baby Boomers with no taste!

You know those jackets were like $100 back then, when a $100 was like $400 today.

I believe the Members Only jackets became popular after it was seen worn by Anthony Geary in General Hospital. That show also popularized surgeon scrubs among college students in the early 1980s.
