Retro sneakers are my favorite. Now I'm waiting for cargo pants to come back in style. They had a run in the mid to late 1980s and again in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

I love bell bottoms! Yay! Now I'm just waiting for those cork bottomed platform heels to come back. I actually have seen a few of them. Or Candies - woohoo!

Don't worry, dazzleman - cargo pants will come back around again.

I hated bell bottoms back in the 70's because I'm short and by the time I hemmed them they looked like regular pants. I am sure petite clothing probably existed back then but I was in my teens and early 20's back then and not savvy about anything other than the junior department.

My favorite period of clothing is what women wore in the late 40's after WWII. The tailored suits, padded shoulders, etc. I used to love shopping for clothes but lately I find hardly anything that I look at and think "I must have this".

Just finished the book. Didn't realize it was a movie.

I vividly remember a pair of navy, floral elephant leg pants I had in 5th grade. I thought I was it. I like the 70's but not much fashion in the 80's was good.

I miss those 80’s high waist jeans, pants and tops which I wore a lot of. It was easy to look cute and comfy in class, after work, on a date. The hair styles were fun too.

Cargo pants and shorts finally went out of style only about 5 or 6 years ago. They're not attractive; practical, but not attractive. Bell-bottoms have been in and out since the 70's, too. I bought bell-bottom business suit pants in the early-ish 90's, and noticed they started coming back in 2-3 years ago. They were in fashion magazines, available from higher-end labels.

I loved shoulder pads! And feathered hair!

Would love to see those come back.

You are in luck, they are back.
