'forward' fashion is going backwards. 'new' for spring/summer 2019:

Ruffles
tie-dye
puff sleeves
bows??
patchwork fabric
one piece jumpsuits (now called boiler suits)
crochet clothing
acid washed denim

I've seen all these trends before. I'd link some articles showing these trends, but you've probably already seen lots of pictures of these spring/summer 2019 runway trends if interested in fashion.

will you embrace the 60s and 80s fashion trends?

I'll keep wearing what I have and shopping at thrift stores.

I see more coral shades and some lovely earth tone pinks.

I'm thinking about adding some blues to my wardrobe. A navy and deep cerulean.

I do like the crochet look and will continue to wear it but no bows or flounces for me, please.

I bought three shirts in Candy Pink with my favorite brand. Spring 2018 was all about Fairy Tale with my favorite brand.

No to any if those things you listed, especially jump suits.

I think that as a young person you experience certain fun things in fashion that do not look great on you when you are 30-50 years older. Ruffles, for instance do not look good surrounding an older arm, IMO. I am personally over patchwork and have been so since the late 1970s. The newly stylish pastels, however, I CAN enjoy.

I had never been a pastel person until the last decade. I thought of them as too "girlie."

They do wonders for me as an older woman. But I do like to pair them with deeper shades.

Coral was the Pantone color of the year. A pleasing shade well balanced of pink and orange.

Iím not typically a bow wearer, but on occasion I do wear a hair band with a bow, al a Rose Marie.

I no longer follow fashion, I wear what I like.
