Hudson. Iím 5'2" and I still prefer straight or skinny. I found my first pair several years ago at a Macy's for $19.75 when I couldn't find the price tag. (Turns out, the $188 price tag was in the pocket when I got home.)

Sadly I recently wore them out when I stepped into a pickup and ripped the inner thigh area after not wearing them for several months.

All Saints Cigarette (slim straight) jeans have been my favorite the past 2-3 years. I have multiple washes. High quality denim, good fit, wear well.

Long and lean, from Gap. All cotton. I absolutely despise all the darn stretchy jeans now. I hate tight clothing, and in the stretchy crap, by the time I get a size that does not cut me in two and is comfortable, every time I bend over or sit down, I have to pull up my pants when I straighten up. It’s absurd. If you like your pants to fit skin tight, then I guess they work for you. For me, the are a great big FAIL.

I like skinny or slim fit. Ankle or cropped Cut. And I like both mid and high rise.
I like to have a variety of washes (light- dark)
My 3 favorite pairs right now are a pair of Calvin Kleins, Levi's and a pair from Fashion Nova

I don't have a favorite brand. I take what I can find because of my height, and that usually means shopping online. I've yet to find a pair that fits really well or that I think looks good on me.

I do have a pair I really like that a friend of mine found in a thrift shop. I don't know what the brand is--there's no label. She texted me and said she was at a thrift shop and there was a good pair of jeans that seemed as if they were my size and were really long for nine bucks. Did I want her to pick them up?

I said, yes, figuring what's nine bucks. They are really a nice pair of jeans and fit well enough. Heavier denim than some of the junk out there, too.

Daamn! I used to work at Macys years ago and that's what people did. The switched tags out. I am surprised it was still there.
Hudson jeans cost close to 200 dollars and a Macys employee working in clothing should have known better. However, good for you. Don't you think Hudsons run long. Do you have to hem them?

When I worked at Macy's I think that store just got Hudsons and all they had was these ridiculously tall sizes. I mean, I wish I had legs like that.

Yes, they do have petite sizes, but Iíll admit I donít mind if my jeans are slightly long. I sometimes cuff them.
