I live in Florida too, and yes, people wear strange things sometimes. No, it's not because of where they live.

LOL....yes. At long as I don't have to wear a onesie I'm ok with it. Just a passing fad.....

I've seen the "Grownups In Onesies" trend but I haven't seen it in public. More like a Christmas morning instagram post or "Movie Night with my Boyfriend" type of thing. Pajamas in public seems to be less common than it was 15 years ago IME.

Personally, I think it looks more like a full body gold lamé diaper.
It looks fine to me. Not what I'd want but (aside from the Shouty Gold) hardly notable. Certainly no different than a woman wearing a romper to a night out or a wetsuit if your water skiing.

My teenager wears onesies around the house in winter. She's always cold, I'm always too warm, so I keep the heat set at 60 and she wears the onesies to stay warm. She's got a dinosaur, a panda, a minion and a unicorn. The only time she's worn it outside is at Christmas time when the fire department does their Santa parade through the neighborhood and all the kids are out in their pajamas waiting to see Santa. The little kids loved seeing a big kid in pajamas like theirs.
