Im also looking for the best and thickest sock made. Ive done a bit of online shopping and Ive been seeing a few brands that stand out, but am wanting to get some other opinions too.

I bought a 2 pack of Ralph Lauren socks that were pretty good, but it didnt last, the elastic wore out within a couple weeks and I had to keep pulling them up.

Thorlos socks. Recommended to me by a mail carrier with a walking route ten years ago. Expensive, but, last forever. Come in both men's and women's sizes.

Thor-Lo.

hard to get these days; all the running stores have quit carrying them and all they have is thin crummy ones from heavily marketeered brand names. That does not work for my old damaged feet with plantar fasciitis and extreme pronation.

Gotta make some on line orders as all my old ones are getting really badly worn out.

Thor-Los are not "fashion", but if you want socks for function they are the ones.

Like most of my clothes, Costco. Not a great selection, but they are always the highest quality and hold up well.

Supposedly Bomba makes a thicker sock than Thor lo.

I tried ti find that Bomba sock and its tough, the website said Dicks had it in stock, but when I got to the store, they have never seen the sock before, it is $24. for a single pair, they list the thickness as 4.69mm, while the Throlo is said to have a 4.04mm thickness (not sure if this is accurate, since it was on a Bomba website.

Have you ever tried Maggie's Organic socks? (Made in the U.S.) The most comfortable socks I have ever worn. 100% cotton.

Not sure what you are looking for or the purpose of the sock.

Good sock that is good at wicking, keeping your feet warm and comfortable--I find Alpaca socks the best.

Try Gold Toe socks, available at most department stores (JC Penney, Macys). They have a wide variety for many uses, although they aren't as good as they used to be because they keep reducing the cotton content. Also, Brooks Brothers factory stores (outlet stores) have a good selection, including many with a higher percentage cotton.
