I wonder, in the United States, where do different fashion brands have their regional strengths?

I'm pretty sure most of the luxury brands dominate in New York. Nautica seems to have some popularity in Puerto Rico (a U.S. territory). IZOD seems to be more popular in the Southeastern United States, especially in Florida. Some brands that focus on denim might be more popular in western states.

What do you think?

Puerto Rico for sure. As for Florida, while I have been there occasionally, a major Florida department store (Bealls, not to be confused with the Texas-based store chain of the same name) carries IZOD plus Florida is a major golfing destination.

Oh lookie ... another excuse to discuss Izod and Nautica.

OP have you ever noticed that no one else on this forum posts about particular brands as frequently as you do?

This is not an excuse to discuss IZOD and Nautica; I would like to know where certain brands are regionally strong, either based on actual data or personal experiences.

Here in Arizona I see a lot of Under Armor, especially among the younger crowd. Not sure if this is regional or nationwide. Polo Ralph Lauren is popular here too, but I think they are popular everywhere. Wrangler also seems to be popular here among a select crowd, particularly those who live a more rural lifestyle. Lands End is worn by a few seniors around here. I don't see a lot of Nautica here in Arizona (most of the local Macy's stores have dropped the brand; I think there may be only one or two that still carry it locally).

Here on Long Island, NY, Vineyard Vines is pretty popular. I feel like their clothing has replaced Ralph Lauren and the like. The boys wear the button downs, polos, etc. and the girls wear the dresses and tees.

Sports clothing is pretty popular with the younger crowd: UA, Nike, Adidas, and even Champion is having a come back.

The tween girls are into Lululemon, Lily Pulitzer.

Tommy Bahama seems to be popular among many of the men.

The women mix it up here when it comes to clothes (I can't say I see a lot of any specific brands), but they are still into their LV totes. (I never see them with any other type of LV bag...just the Neverfull. It was like a memo was sent out that that was the required bag to live on Long Island..and no, I don't own one.)

Here in South Florida, LV, Gucci, and Hermes all rule.

The Neverfull is everywhere here. That and the Gucci Marmont with the Hermes belt.
