...where do you live?

I live in North Eastern OH. I kind of let myself go this winter, due to poor health, but I got my first mani-pedi for Spring on Tuesday. It cost $85.

Full disclosure, I get a gel manicure, (no extensions) and I opted for a spa pedicure, which is a bit more expensive than a regular pedi - but it includes a foot massage, lower leg and foot "masque" hot stone "therapy" and a neck and shoulder massage.

Mani-pedis are the only thing that is more expensive in NE Ohio than in Stony Brook-Setauket L.I. NY. Strange but true. I should check current prices though. I am going back almost a decade.

SO - How much where you live and does it include any extras?

I just had a mani/pedi tonight. I had the basic services with regular polish (not the lowest level "express" service, but none of the fancy scrubs, paraffin treatments, hot stone massages, etc). It cost me $52 + tip (N. Carolina).

It actually doesn't surprise me that it's cheaper in L.I. NY. This article is a few years old, but if you scroll about half way down, you'll see average prices for manis and pedis around the country. NYC mani/pedis are CHEAP, and I would expect L.I. to be similar, just due to proximity.

I do spa pedicures (same thing as you explained) and itís $60. (Long Island, NY)

I donít do manicures anymore and Iím embarrassed to say that I donít really pay attention to the cost when I take my daughter with me for a mani/pedi. I just pay the total, but it varies because sometimes im getting waxed as well.

Originally from Great Neck. Moved to Oyster Bay Cove where I grew up. My husband and I bought a house North of Northern Blvd - 25A on the Setauket Stony Brook border. So, I am a North Shore girl too.

Just had a shellac mani and a basic pedi 4 days ago. With tip I paid $70.00. I don't know if they charged for removal of the previous shellac polish. I live in San Antonio.

It really varies. I will spend more to go to my salon where I know everything is very clean (autoclaved) over a salon where they pay their girls crap and spread toenail fungi. There is a good place around the corner from me and a gel mani is $45 and a regular pedi is $35. It’s clean and pretty but no extra spa stuff added on. They don’t allow tips, which is a bonus I guess...but I feel so weird not tipping.

Where I go my super spa (reclining zero gravitychair, warm blanket, neck roll, drinks, foot massage, keratin treatment) pedi is $88 and my gel mani is $40. I like the spa treatment so I always get my pedis there. I might get a mani somewhere else if pressed for time but usually do both together.

My wife gets hers for free. She keeps toe and finger nail clippers and emery boards close by and does it herself. She said she has a lot of other things she could use that money on. She also has never worn any make up for the same reason. Why hide under make up? You are who you are, according to her!

A bare bones, base level pedicure, here, is $25-$30. I don't know what manicures run, because I never get them. Midwest, midsize city.

A basic pedicure (with a foot and leg massage, sugar scrub, massage chair, water or tea, hot towels and regular polish) costs between twenty-five and thirty-five dollars before tipping here in southwestern Pennsylvania.

I have no idea what a manicure costs in this area.
