Hi

Does anyone know if drinking 1 teaspoon of coconut oil in your tea can help wrinkles?

I've done this and it made my skin soooo soft from the inside out.

It made a big difference after like 3 days of drinking it each day and putting lotion on after drinking it each day.

(If you try this you can add 1 or 2 teaspoons in tea each day. dont ever drink more than 2 teaspoons in each serving in one day)

I know some health benefits are it increases metabolism, & reduces hunger.

I have no idea, but you might ask a moderator to move your post to either the Health and Wellness or the Fashion and Beauty forum - Caregiving is about caring for others, usually elderly family members, not self-care.

OP: I use CO in my cup of coffee daily and cooking with it and drizzle it on veggies. It's my main oil and I use Olive Oil too, mix them for cooking sometimes. I hardly have any wrinkles and will be 81 soon. I also believe my 25 yrs of antioxidants have played a huge part in all my inside/outside health.

But then I'm counting on CO for memory issues too.

Gary Null is an experienced nutritionist and he recommends Pycnogenol.

There's also this:

Pycnogenol® effects on skin elasticity and hydration coincide with increased gene expressions of collagen type I and hyaluronic acid synthase in women.

I took Pycnogenol for a whole year in 1995 and then found it's less expensive relative Grape Seed Extract a year later and have been taking it for 24 yrs. I make up my own Wrinkle cream too with powder from 100mg of Pycnogenol and mix it in a base of Vit C and Aloe Vera cream.

I bought a pycnogenol wrinkle cream for years from an online supplement company and it's very inexpensive and then decided to make my own. I may go back to buying it.

Interesting on Gary Null's comments. Thanks.

You are right, nothing above works anywhere as well as Eucerin, Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Lotion or Cetaphil
