I am 45 yet admittedly wear shorter things. Since I was a cheer leader in high school I do spend a lot of time exercising and working out. My boyfriend is 33 and has said he likes it when I wear mini skirts. Do you think I am in the wrong?

Nothing wrong if you have the right body for it and the skirt isn't too short (and you wear underwear)
Miniskirt isn't that much different than wearing shorts.

You work hard to maintain your body, you have the right to wear whatever you want.

I lost my mind for a minute earlier this year and threw away all my bikinis, i have a lot of friends that love the skort/tankini look. Once i realized what i had done, i bought a bunch of new ones, my overly conditioned thighs and a$$ do not want to be hidden under a skort.

No. No stipulations. Women should wear what they want.

It depends -- if you work in an office and they have a dress code, it might not be deemed acceptable. Otherwise, if you are comfortable with the attire and it's not constraining, why not?

We get this same question at least once/year. Why would you be in the wrong?

Nope. Why are you needing approval or validation?

You have the right to wear whatever you want whether or not you “take care of your body.”

If you like yourself in a miniskirt, wear one. It is a free country. You may wear whatever you want. Just make sure you are wearing a mini to please yourself, as well as your guy.

Are you a "woman of Walmart"? Then it is fine.

You are borderline, age wise, IMO. Assuming that you have thin, firm legs, ok. There are 60 year olds who could rock a skort or short shorts in an athletic setting, But a mini skirt would just look unseemly to me.

Would I faze out the mini skirts by 50? Yes. Err on the side of caution.
