Though not all form fitting things work equally well - and I think there are some smart parameters about balance, proportions, undergarments and fabric weight.

I'm not super concerned about it. But it enters the back of my mind.
It sounds like you dress to please yourself, and that you know what you like.

Good for you!

With how I dress, I can't afford to care what people think.

I think it's both simultaneously.
If I do not feel I LOOK appropriate (other people's eyes), then I won't FEEL good (my own feelings)
I mean, we all dress for others to some degree- do I look abnormally fat/skinny/deformed in this outfit? Is my nipple hanging out? etc.
If I were dressing only for me, it is DALLAS in the SUMMER....I would be walking around naked, affixed with some sort of sprinkler/fan combination.

Does this happen a lot??

I like to feel that I look good when I'm out, but it only goes as far as my own taste. I dress how I like to dress, I don't care if it's trendy or expensive enough, etc., and I'm sure a lot of people might not appreciate my color combos, but I do, so...
