I fly a lot for my job and am going on another trip late next week. I've decided I'm sick to death of untying and retying tennis shoes and boots for security and the plane and want to get slip-on loafers. I'm a woman who wears size 7 normally and comfort is becoming a factor due to middle age. But I don't want hideously ugly either. Does anyone have suggestions on brand/style? I like trying them on in store because my shoes run narrow at times. I sometimes get kid's shoes due to the narrow thing as well, so kid's suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
If you fly a lot for work you should sign up for TSA pre-check so you don't have to take off your shoes!
Also check with your employer, some will pay for frequent travelers. It is very easy to acquire.

Some credit cards cover the cost of PreCheck, and occasionally some airlines will allow you to use points to pay for it (that's how I got mine ... used Southwest points).
I've heard great things about Tieks. I like that they're foldable and take up very little space in your bag. Might have to look into investing in a pair.
Spend $100 on a pair of shoes to wear to the airport, or spend $85 to never* have to wait in line, take off shoes, take off belt, remove laptop from bag in the airport? Seems like a no-brainer.

I just bought Adidas slip on razor back shoes from Marshall's. They are the most comfortable shoes and can be thrown in the washer. Feel like I am not wearing shoes. I think they would be fine for narrow feet.

Totally agree. It was very easy to go in to complete the process and a week later, was given my number. Such a breeze going through security. Regardless of the $85 and who pays, the time I gained by not having to wait in the longer regular security line made it worth the money.
