What is this hair accessory called? (product, head, tone, fashion)

Figured this would be the best place to ask. Basically it's a hair accessory that women use that gives them a ponytail but instead of a scrunchie, rubber band or something, it has a circular shape you pull your hair through that I think is made of plastic or the like and sits right on top of your head.

Chignon. You can buy a doughnut shaped mesh (that reminds me of a pot scrubber) pull your ponytail thru the hole then move your hair around to cover the doughnut, tuck the ends under the doughnut and secure with a couple of Bobby pins. My daughter makes one out of a rolled up sock and puts bun on top of her head she reminds me of Pebbles Flintstone.
