I didn’t think lash extensions were recommended with chemo cause of the irritations so common with chemo.....but lashes grow back like hair does....
They recommend your skin & lashes be healthy or they normally won’t do it......but maybe some unlicensed places would....
I’m like most...I think they look dramatic ...cc or d curl....for special nights out or when I do my videos...but so far I just use fake eyelashes.....but they have come a long way too......

Thank you! She’s a few years out of chemo, but it did a permanent number on her hair. Add to that, so does age and thyroid issues. The first time I saw her they looked terrible, but she was on an off time so they were shedding off and kind of ratty looking. The next time they looked nice.
I used the liquid lash extensions and I liked that mascara, too. But I developed an eye thing, and I needed to apply drops several times a day, and that mascara didn’t last through it. But Maybelline Falsies mascara did. I’d use the drops, then gently dab my eye with a Kleenex, and a small amount of mascara would come off but it never flaked and never came completely off — it lasted through. Curled and lengthened.
As an alternative to lash extensions, perhaps consider Grande Lash serum? It is an over the counter lash growth serum available through amazon, Walmart, and many other retail outlets.
I've been using it for over a year and the results have been very good. after brushing it on my upper and lower lash lines once a day for two months, my formerly short lashes grew long and full. I continue to use the serum every three days or so for maintenance of the lash length and fullness.
I use this system--the initial outlay is a bit pricey, but once you have your wand and control kit, it's not bad. I have the LashifyX plan, and get four sets of the gossamers per month for $40.
Much less expensive than extensions, and you can do them yourself. You can even clean and reuse the gossamers (lashes).

My lashes are long...& the mascaras I like do an amazing job...but....I just want a more dramatic look for special nights out or doing my videos.....ty tho. It might be better to stick with false eyelashes....because I can’t remove extensions for work.

I have seen these..... & have a few friends that have used them....but they aren’t really for me. My thing is more a dramatic look....& I think the liquid extensions mascara does just as good of a job.....for less work & no adhesive.....
I go all out when I wear the fake......that’s just 1 of the things that holds me up on extensions........
I loved them but developed an allergy. The liquid lash extensions mascara is great. Sometimes I miss them but I don’t want itchy swollen eyes again so I’m not going to risk even the hypoallergenic glue. My lashes are long and full on their own but blonde on the ends so they look sparse without mascara.
