What the heck is a sleeveless hoodie? How is it a hoodie if it doesn't have sleeves? I'm so confused.

For those who are unaware, this is what I’m referring to:

I added rain jackets too, because some posters live in places with chilly summer rain like Seattle, London, and the Great Lakes region.
So your arms get wet? Yeah no.

Ummm that's called a vest. I've never heard of a sleeveless hoodie before.

I live 45 minutes from a Great Lake and it is NOT chilly in summer rain. It's humid as ***k. Wearing a raincoat isn't possible most of the summer here because it's like being in a sauna like Birdie said....90 degrees with 90% humidity? Yeah you're not wearing a raincoat or any kind of hoodie - sleeves or no sleeves. If you bother with anything, you go with an umbrella. Depending on how far you're going, often times people don't even bother with them here.

Well, I have experienced chilly rain in summer when I was in the UP. I’m not saying it happens all the time, but it can happen at times. Some shops call it a sleeveless hoodie, others call it a vest. I just posted an example.

Been here 8 years and have never had a summer rainy day where I could wear some sort of jacket. I am not interested in passing out. You'd sweat like a pig, too, so there's that.

LOL Well if we're going down that route, then there's quite a few things that would be hoodies.

I just wear my regular clothing and get wet, lol.

I love the rain and don't care if I get rained on. I especially love a cool/cold rain on a warm day. My hair just ends up really wavy/curly that day

Talking Sometimes, it's just too easy...

"What would I wear on a rainy, summer day?"

Depends on what I'm doing.

Let's say, I'm riding 75mph on a motorcycle. I'd wear Frogg Toggs.

Or, let's say I was riding a Tennessee Walker. I'd wear Frogg Toggs.

Or, let's say I was just outside, because I don't have enough sense to come in from the rain. Here, it doesn't matter. Idiots don't notice risks, so there's that.
