It's the most disgusting fad in U.S. history. They are absolutely gross beyond belief. No one should have them.

Tattoos don't make you sexy. I do see alot of attractive women who have tattoos and that's fine. The girls on L.A. Ink are hot (Esp. Pixie) but they would be attractive even without tats. I find them more interesting then I do good/bad or hot/not .

Just think about that beautiful art adorned with liver spots, varicose veins, and other skin defects that start showing up at about age 50. If you get a lot of sun, there will probably be skin cancers to remove. That's probably going to leave little white spots all over. That cute little one inch butterfly on that perky boob is probably going to elongate to about two or three inches and get stretched all out of shape by the time 60 rolls around.
I wonder what will happen to piecings.

You are so right...they are going to look great along with thier boob jobs !!!!

One would hope that by the time they are old enough for a nursing home they'd have learned just how superfluous focusing on the superficial is.
Frankly by the time I'm that old I don't care what my body looks like as long as my mind is still sharp and I'm able to be active and participate in life. I think many elderly people understand the value of an individual doesn't rest with how they look but with who they are. For some of us lucky enough, we realize this at an early age. I know plenty of elderly gentlemen right now that have tattoos and I've learned so much from them I couldn't care less about their tattoos or their liver spots, wrinkles, thinning hairlines and the like. It is simply the outer covering of a very interesting book as far as I'm concerned. I think if I knew any elderly ladies now that did have tattoos I'd be thrilled to think they'd lived such interesting lives if they'd spent their time being subjected to all kinds of assumptions simply because of such a small thing.
I wouldn't reject someone or judge them based on them being in a wheelchair, or having a speech impediment or disfigurement, a different colour skin, or any other external difference, so why on earth would I make assumptions about someone based on something as inconsequential as body art?
Besides I'm quite looking forward to the kiddies singing that song to me about the old tattooed lady.

When I was younger, I considered it a few times. However, no matter how drunk, I just always had a voice that said "You can't take that back."
That was the first reason why they made me believe that a woman who has one is good for only one thing... If she doesn't have the presence of mind to reject a childish desire in favor of long-term consequences, she's probably been around a whole lot more than I'd care to be associated with... ink is forever... semen gets washed off.
I then noticed that they were really popular as conversation starters. So now, not only am I somewhat disgusted by women with them, but annoyed because it's so mainstream.

It's just occurred to me that my tattoos are probably offending judgemental types so much that they're not talking to me in their haste to get away from such an objectionable creature! What a bonus! Almost makes me want to get a couple more!

I personally don't care much if it's classy, but a friend once said it's a "beware" sign.

Yes thank God that there are still some women, though, who respect their bodies enough to run TO.
