I mostly see the bare ankle thing on hockey players, and my spouse says the young sales guys at work sometimes do it. I think it looks ridiculous, but I'm not a 20-something man.

The tight jacket looks dumb, too, and often goes along with the bare ankles. It's really weird - because in the case of the hockey players, they're exceptionally fit yet look like their mom hasn't bought them a new suit since high school and they've put on weight.

Slim fitted looks great on thin guys. Tight looks awful.

I don't either. Sounds stupid ads look stupid.

That said, if someone wants to walk around looking like an idiot, that is their right. There's nothing cool in looking like a fool.

There, I made a rhyme! You're welcome!

I see the too tight jacket thing a lot....BUT it’s younger men in their 20s. I like the fitted slim straight chino cropped at the ankle on a man but not above it...like most fashionable men over 30 wear IMO. If they are too short they start to look like capris or they had a growth spurt. AND IMO...capris are a fashion no no like flip flops.

My understanding is that with slim pants, they are supposed to be shorter than the less fitted pants. I don’t mind the slim suits, as a lot of men with slimmer figures look ridiculous in the wide suits. The really tight look with manpris is not attractive on anyone though.

It depends on the style of their pants...but IMO at the ankle is a good fit for slim straight chinos. It looks more professional & manly IMO than going too cropped. I love the look on my husband. Slim fit jackets look stylish...but not when they are too tight or their button looks like it will pop off because they are squeezed in.

Ita about manpris...they don’t look any better on men than they look on us. Capris aren’t fashionable IMO.

I just like it when men put an effort into their appearance, even if it's not a style I personally care for. It's better than the type of outfit I see far more frequently ... the baggy cargo shorts and stretched out, faded, juvenile graphic tees.

I read the original post. But whether or not I've seen the Bachelorette contestants has no bearing on my comment that I thought we stopped declaring people losers by virtue of their clothing choices back in junior high.

Listen, I'm aware my style of humor isn't for everyone. But I won't argue over some bs in here.

Good day.
