I think a belly button piercing on a flat tummy (no saggy, mommy pooch, please!) is cute, but I don't like anything (other than earrings) on the head-portion of the body!
I like pierced noses on women. I prefer the small studs but don't have a problem with hoops. I really don't see how a nose piercing screams "two-bit strumpet". This isn't the '50s anymore.
One billion Indians seem to think so!
No doubt, a nice sparkling nose stud adds a certain pizzaz and mystery to a woman's face.
Wow I have a nose piercing and an eyebrow piercing. Lol the nose piercing is a pink diamond that lays flat on my nose (bioflex is very comfortable). I love my eyebrow piercing so I guess according to a lot of the guys in this thread I would be one single woman lol. Especially since I'm 32 with facial piercings lol. Oh well. LOL
I could never have one, because I'd be scratching at it all the time, thinking there was something foreign on my nose .....
That said, I think they're kind of cute on younger girls.
THAT said, I think some girls (and boys) go much too far with the facial piercings. I teach in an inner-city school, and we have students with four or five (or more) facial piercings -- nose, lips, eyebrows -- you name it. The kids, themselves, are delightful and charming, but at first glance they can be very off-putting. Since first impressions count for so much, I'm really concerned about how they're going to fare in "the real world" looking the way they do.
Of course, people in "the real world" may be so busy astonished by the kids' numerous tattoos that they won't even notice the piercings .....
Even my mom, who HATES piercings of any kind, had no problem with my tiny diamond nose stud. I think that tiny studs are no more shocking than earrings.
Then again I like other facial piercings too. I just don't have them anymore due to job reasons.
Just a hunch, but I'd bet that women who are doing piercings other than small ones in the ear are also doing tattoos. I'm often a little disappointed when I see either piercings at alternate locations or tattoos. But that's just me.
Aside from earrings; I am no fan of piercings on a woman-----this coming from a straight man.
