Style Of Shirts
I have sen for awhile now that the style of shirts for womem is the empire waist and fuller bottom. I like the look as it hides some weight issues. But it some ways I'm reminded of maternity shirts.

I agree--unless the shirt is fairly fitted to the body, it looks (to me) like maternity wear! I have a few with the higher waistline, but they aren't full cut--they "hug" the body, and it actually makes me look quite thin! You really have to try on things, to see if they flatter your body!

Last time I wore one, some random lady came up and intended to rub what looked (to her) to be an 8 month pregger belly. When her hand went to my actual stomache she apologized for about 10 minutes for assuming I was pregnant.
I felt really embarassed, but I'm sure she felt much more embarassed.
After that, I grabbed a hair tye and tied the extra fabric in the back and rolled it under the shirt.

What I don't like about some of them are the puffy little sleeves. Reminds me of baby clothes!
