Along with the tarantula eye lashes, it is always so obvious your lips have filler in them. Maybe a little more popular with the young instagram crowd then the older ladies, but nevertheless just so fake looking. The art of cosmetic procedures is that it is "supposed" to look natural. Having an upper lip that looks like a plunger not to mention the swelling that can occur the first few days, is not god given, well unless you are Steve Tyler
Oh, I agree with you 100%.
What happened to the natural look?
Some of these beauty procedures--the pillow lips-- and eye-lashes (and painted on eye brows) are grotesque.

attention and ultimately, money.
You’re a guy but, do you know of anybody who gets paid to have filler in their lips? IMO it’s insecurity when they take it too far. Tbh, I feel sorry for them. They need negative attention to get any attention or they could have BDD.

For some it is insecurity. Other's do it because they can. Or because they just want to enhance their looks. Or keep their youthful looks - that would be me. My lips used to be full and pretty and they lost volume and got wrinkly - with lip fillers they look fuller again.
The other reason why people overdo it is that they have to buy a whole syringe. So they may as well use it and not waste half. At my dermatologists office you can buy a whole and then save half for when you need it again but I am not sure if that is offered everywhere or if customers know about this option.

Ofc, I was saying it’s insecurity when they overdo it….or maybe BDD. I wasn’t saying that older women who want lip fillers are insecure but they overdo sometimes too.
Just be careful you don't fill in so much you end up looking like the "new" Madonna
You beat me to the punch with your post. I'm 10 years older than her and still get asked for proof for my Senior Discounts. Science can sometimes be worse than Mother Nature.
