German men must go somewhere off this planet between the ages of about 25 to about 45, because they disappear and suddenly reappear wearing dapper jackets and looking like the Von Trapp captain (in the movie, not sure about real life). Before then, they tend to look a bit frumpy. And too effeminate for my taste. And pretty pasty.
Well sure, Europeans go topless on beaches and yes, I understand the clubbing look even in Europe is going to be revealing. I wasn't discussing clubbing outfits. Everyone knows night life dress is different from regular daytime dress. I think the posters are more or less commenting on regular dress, not what some young 20-30 year old hot thing is going to wear to a club.
And no, my "sleazy" and "skanky" comment wasn't about clubbing outfits. It was about regular daytime dress. If you happen to look around, you'll see a lot of this in the US everywhere in younger women and not just in big cities as in Europe. It's likely worse in the suburbs than in the cities. It's 50 degrees here where I live and yesterday I saw a young woman without a coat, wearing a tight midriff top with her 44DD breasts popping out of it. This is fairly common here. To me, sleazy and skanky means low class and provocative. It's what a hooker would wear. What would YOU call it?

Revealing, low cut, tight, short, see-through. Any adjective that describes the clothing and doesn't disparage the woman whom you likely do not know.
Referring to women as sleazy or skanky or comparing them to a hooker gets dangerously close to the abhorrent "she brought it on herself" mindset some guys have.
That first article i self-contradictory. It talks about Parisian women always wearing high heels, even to go to the grocery store, and how Parisian women set the standard for Europe, supposedly, but later it posts a photo of a woman in sneakers, and the caption says, "cute sneakers are always in style". This makes about as much sense as the opening post, IMO.
SHE explains all the ins and outs of styles and habits/customs the French way; how it works.
(I think she is some designer.)
