Well ain't you a doll!

I KNOW, right? Awesome awesome clothes. Not too awful prices either and guaranteed NEVER to go out of style! I order at least three dresses a year. And I love the car-show circuit. Gives me an opportunity to show off my new duds...here I am in Vegas a couple of months ago. I found the playsuit at an ebay store called bombshell vintage:

and here I am at the same event last year...(five months pregnant...hee hee):

If you like the Afred Shaheen style wrap dresses of the fifties, check out this very reasonably priced 'made-to-order' site:

Whirlingturban.com Vintage Dress Styles

These dresses are AMAZING on every figure. If you're thin and flat chested, they give you curves. If you have curves, they show them off!

She definitely has a Rockabilly flavor but not strictly so.

I don't watch the show either but I know who she is because I've been told over and over that I look like her.

It must be the glasses! And our size is similar, and my style veers towards Rockabilly often (when I have time to care)

PS I loved the links posted and have been drooling over the dresses on Daddy-O's for years but I think I'm about one size too big for what they offer. Likewise the dresses on the last post, third link. I would love to have a 40's or 50's inspired wedding dress but must everything be halter style? In my experience... DD's plus a halter neck = neck/back ache after an hour or two.

Me (and I was really really tired in this pic..so ignore the haggard look!):

Penelope Garcia (character.. actress is Kirsten Vangsness)

You do resemble her quite a bit. I notice she does the flowers and sparklies in the hair a lot too. Maybe her style is a mix between punk and rockabilly.

Yeah, I think so.. and that's exactly my style too (punk and rockabilly), so maybe that's why I get the comments all the time. When I manage to leave the house with any forethought, that is.

Incidentally, the actress that plays her is gay (me too), we were both born in July (she's a year younger), both worked as substitute teachers (me at a private school only.. no degree)...both have had pink hair, and from what I've read was/is definitely a punk-rock girl (me too, I won't grow out of it apparently). Just kinda weird. Long lost twin? Like I said I had no idea who she was until people kept telling me I looked like her so I Googled her.

I was there, too! It was so hot this year!

Love the clothes. My hubby does too! Thanks so much for the sites. I'm definately going to order some stuff to suprise him. Some dresses for me and a few of those kick a$$ shirts for him!! He's going to love it! We do the car shows, too. We've got/had some real killer classic cars & hot rods.

That is too funny! Did you ask your mom if there was something she forgot to tell you?
Criminal Minds is a great show and her character is really cool, just FYI.

While I'm not a rockabilly girl, one of my friends (well, rather, friend-of-a-friend) is heavily influenced by the subculture. And it works so well with her!

I absolutely LOVE the heat. I'm used to 90 degrees and 60 percent humidity so it was easy peasy for us. We are so ready to move to the desert!

I love the clothes too. I noticed a bunch of new dresses on Daddy O's. Can't wait to place another order. I just found THIS dress on Bombshell Vintage for a really great price. I love it!
