I'm totally into everything Rockabilly. Although I don't dress up like a true greaser I just plain love it. I am trying to convince my wife to start dressing retro but she's kind of a bigger girl and she says don't make anything for ****** girls. Is that true?

Absolutely not. Most retro clothing companies make plus size clothing. Even if they don't have her exact size, she can have some dresses made for her based on the styles. Or she can buy some basic pieces from the plus size store of her choice and add retro accessories to achieve the look. Kate Donovan is a plus size pinup/burlesque dancer and she is really proud of her size:

Just looks busty to me! 
Anyway, sometimes Torrid has retro styled clothing and it's definitley plus sized. If they don't currently have anything retro, try ebay for older Torrid items.

You should also go check out Lady K Loves, they're pretty new but have some really sweet bits. I think the winter stuff has just come out (in answer to the question above on how to rock this whilst freezing cold!) so you've got some really nicely cut tees, cardies, trousers and a lovely warm cape. I've never seen one like it, I'm saving my pennies! |
