Need strapless bra advice
I've found so many cute halter tops and dresses this season, but I would hate to commit a fashion faux pas and allow a bra strap to show! I'm having a very difficult time finding a strapless bra that holds the girls up and yet is still cute and comfy - DD here. Help? Please?

My favorite (assuming you aren't extremely flat chester) are the bandeau style that don't clasp, just slip up like a tube. there are even some that have structure and padding in the 'cups'. Normal strapless bras are very unflattering and squeeze me in all the wrong places, I've found. The exception to that is a FRONT CLOSING convertible bra but they are very hard to find.
If you are looking for something to wear under halter dresses and tops, I suggest a convertible bra that can be worn as a halter, criss cross back, or conventionally. That way yo uwon't have to hike it up all the time.

I am also a DD and the bandeau just does not work for me....at all. I am also interested in some responses because I have never been able to find a decent strapless bra.

If you are a busty gal, I'd venture to say that strapless tops are not for you. I am a 38C when I'm breast feeding and I still can't wear them w/out constantly tugging. HOWEVER, if it's a halter top you want to wear, then you can skip a strapless bra altogether and go, as I mentioned before, with a convertible bra. You will still get plenty of support and they are super easy to wear. The bra strap just goes over the back of your neck, beneath the halter top.

But, but, but...I wanna!
Seriously though, thanks for the convertible bra advice. Maybe I could find one with clear straps. I bought a really cute sundress last week and it has tiny straps. Thoughts?
The bandeau would never work for me!

In your case, I'd forget the strapless bra and go for the whole bustier/corset deal! If you are large chested, you'd probably get more use out of anyway because it supports your back as well. Sure, it's not the most comfortable thing in the world but you'll feel super-sexy under your clothes the whole time. I have a small chest (when I'm not breastfeeding) but I wear a waist cincher alot for hours at a time and have gotten quite used to it.
Check out these babies:
fully fashioned stockings, lingerie, girdles, corsets and bullet bras.

It's nothing for bra straps to show these days. As near as I can tell it's preferable (at least in my neck of the woods). Thin, pretty colored bra straps are part of the look for the young ones.

I HATE the visbile bra straps. But I'm old fashioned that way, I guess.
I do, however, like for my corset to show beneath a white button up shirt...or sometimes I even put it over a peasant style blouse. So cute!

I don't mind for the bra straps too show if it's a casual tank. I do try to make sure they are a complimenting color though. But with dresses or the dressy tops, it just doesn't look good IMO.
I'm not sure I could wear a corset for more than a few hours as I am a fan of comfort, but I'll check out the link after work.

I like this bra Calvin Klein "Perfectly Fit with Lace" Strapless Bra - Lingerie - Women's - Macy's. Not sure how it's gonna work in DD, though...
