Question Foundation Primers~~ Do You Use Them?

I just bought my first. I think it's going to be too oily for my skin type though. I didn't see any real difference when I used it under foundation. Thoughts?

I love Arbonne's foundation primer. It makes your skin feel like silk. I only use it under mineral powder makeup though. It might be too oily under liquid foundation.

I do exactly the same thing with the same products you mentioned. LOVE IT.

I have to confess, I don't even know what a foundation primer is.

I am also not sure what a foundation primer is. What is the purpose of it? Is it colorless?

It's colorless and "primes" the skin surface for foundation. It helps foundation go on more evenly and smoothly. I never knew what primer was til I read Charla Krupp's book.

I use two different ones - one is a free sample given to me at Sephora made by Smashbox called Photo Finish Light and the one I bought from Clinique is called Turnaround Concentrate Visible Skin Renewer. I swear, it makes my face look luminous.

Just another facial skin product to get addicted to, but to me, man, it works!

Yeah, it was that book which got me to order it. And yeah, I ordered the one by Smashbox. I am only using it now where I kinda have some wrinkles and need some moisture. Seems to be nice for that. It does make your skin feel like silk.
