I would love to say its Utah, but there are many people throughout the country that think along the same lines. Where I am at, if they had the power, they would force women to wear dresses and ban all alcohol and other "non-puritan" things.

Many places in the US are far more restrictive then even in the Emirates where I have spent a good deal of time, it is sad.

A ridiculous example of Government needlessly interfering in the lives of citizens. People should be allowed to wear what they want to the pool. Children are a lot more resilient and able to cope with life's challenges than the officials in Utah give them credit for. All to achieve a community pool "G rating" - what a waste of time and effort of the Government. If only Government efforts were instead focused upon things that mattered, this great country of ours wouldn't be struggling so right now.

Personally, I like the name "magic underpants" best . My mormon family DO swim, but the women wear modest one pieces. On Sunday though, no swimming allowed no matter what is covering you.

You know, me too. I think bikinis belong in only certain places (not in the town I live in, that's for sure, but they do anyway) and only on certain people (young little girls or young teens. But not for adults, in my opinion).

I used to be a bikini person, but you know I've gotten to love myself more and came to the realization that I don't have to parade around and show off everything. I love tankinis. Hope they didn't outlaw tankinis though. Those are very decent and more flattering to the body (for any body shape).
