I hardly ever find clothes I like any more and it bugs me.

I have never been trendy or fashionable and modern fashion to me is just the worst.

I am basically a "classic" dresser sort of person ( sort of "preppie" , think long skirts, classic well cut blazers and blouses , a lot of navy and cream)and I just hate shopping.

I always did but at least I could go into some shops and still find some nice things.
Nowadays I just don't even bother any more and just buy things whenever I can and hope they will last !

My ideal wardrobe would be Audrey Hepburn's.

I like well cut clothes, which are well made in classic lines and good quality fabrics. Well defined shapes which make the most of a feminine body and are chic and stylish.

I find modern fashion shapeless and really quite ugly for the most part. I don't own a pair of jeans ( or trousers for that matter) or any T-shirts, and nor do I have any sneakers or chunky shoes.
I only wear ballet pumps and flats.

My favourite shop was a place called "Droopy Browns" ( basically perfect for me) but it closed down and I was devastated.

I long for the return of nice fashion where style and effortless chic are back in fashion and not considered "stiff".

I loathe fashion with a passion and would rather chew my own foot off than spend any time shopping really. I can never understand women who thinks it's a hobby !

I like looking nice, everyone does but shopping is just torture for me... I would much rather be going to the theatre a concert or an art gallery. Much nicer way to spend time and money....

I basically want to buy well cut clothes which will last me a life-time and will always look good ! fat chance of that though.

Growing up, I was required to dress a certain way due to religious constraints so I didn't really develop my own style. Once that changed, I rarely wore skirts or dresses because I had worn them every single day for 18 years! I've finally gotten over that and now wear skirts and dresses much more because I think they are cute and feminine. I guess cute and feminine also describe my style at the moment but I do have lots of jeans and shorts. I love to shop and I always buy a ton of shoes even though my standard daily footwear is the flip flop. I think it's a wonky gene in some of us.
