The "darkness" under the eye is from the skin being thin and the little capillaries showing thru the thin skin. It's hereditary. Use a pink pencil/concealer. It reflects the light and makes those dark circles really appear faded! Try Trish McEvoy--you can get it at Nordstrom.com---it's her "eye-brightening" pencil. Works wonders! I've always had really dark circles--and this makes them disappear! Try it!

Garnier has come out with some sort of undereye 'fix' also. I don't know if it works or not. It can be had at WalMart for like, twelve bucks.

Internally cut back on the caffine and drinking for awhile
Drink more water
Less fake sugar and real sugar too. But especially that fake stuff.

Yogi Brand "Detox" Tea clears them like no cream I have ever tried.
Its cheap and its nice that you can get away with using it every once in awhile as problems crop up. Tastes like ginger.

Oh thanks so much for the info! I will buy this immediately! I tried yellow and even green based concealer and they didn't work at all.

I think people confuse 'bags' with the 'dark circles' you are referring to. Due to years of allergies, I have terrible dark circles. Sometimes they are so bad until I wear my reading glasses just to make them less visible.

They did get better as I drank more water....I'm not sure why it works other than perhaps hydrated skin has a healthier glow.

I really have sympathy for anyone with this problem because it can feel like your face is disfigured. I'm now 50 and have no real wrinkles....but look like an owl without extreme makeup.
