I think, it is some form of stereotyping, and assume (as per the wording of the question:" Why does
EVERYBODY that rides......") the OP asking that question, truly believing, that HD riders have one tattoo after another.
Well, that couldn't be further from the truth, and I strongly object to that notion !
SOME riders do, but certainly not "EVERYBODY".
My husband rides HD's (and Sports bikes, when he was younger) since 28 years or so....and absolutely HATES tattoos (he respects others to have one..... or many....but would never, ever get one himself)
I ride HD's, and have one tattoo in a hidden area, and don't "flaunt it" ...ever.
So.....maybe this thread needs "rewording" of some sort to "why do SOME bikers have so many tattoo's"?
