My husband dresses like that all the time and I think he's hot as hell!
However, he was born in North Carolina so I guess he'd be considered a redneck (even tho he grew up in NJ!)

I think it sounds, well, pretty weird. Sleeveless POLOS? Yeah. Definitely weird. And frankly, I think underarm hair should only be seen at the beach, and at home. Just really unattractive, IMO.
As far as showing off your shoulders, you can wear shirts that do that quite well. Save the freckles for the beach.

I'm still stumped by the macrame shorts! Doesn't it hurt to sit on all those knots?

I'm laughing so hard reading this one.....
My (senior) husband insists on cutting the sleeves off sweatshirts and wearing them when leaving the house ---arrrggghhh. He's neither gay nor redneck--so he has no excuse in my book! He has nice arms and shoulders so would prefer to see him wear a nice fitting short sleeved Polo-type shirt instead.

It doesn't matter if it looks gay or straight, it just looks stupid.
Unless you're playing sports, keep the friggin sleeves on your shirts, for pete's sake.

IMO, sleeveless cutoff shirts should only be worn by women. But in a sexy, form-fitting way. Guys who wear them aren't doing themselves any favors, apperance-wise.

Then what does a fat, gay redneck wear?
