Sleeveless cutoff shirts, gay or redneck?
Not sure why, but I when I see guys in good shape with sleeveless shirts I assume they are gay. On the other hand, the fatter ones I presume to be redneck. Is this unreasonable, or is it just a fashion statement?

Depends on the setting.
Sleeveless is quite useful for certain sports like basketball.
Otherwise they are showing off their hard work to try to get action from either men or women so it's not gay per se.

Depends. If the outfit comes with cami pants, definitely redneck.
Else, just showing off a good bod...audience could be either gender.

Generalizations are always unreasonable.

Are those cami pants as in a camisole??? Or camo pants as in camoflouge?

That it too funny. But I think you are accurate. Also, if a guy is in the city and wearing sleeveless shirt = gay. If he's in a rural area and wearing a sleeveless shirt = redneck.
Here are some clues to help you as well:
Sleeveless shirt and drinking wine or import beer = gay
Sleeveless shirt and drinking bud, schlitz or PBR = redneck
Sleeveless shirt and macrame shorts = gay
Sleeveless shirt and cutoff Dickies mid calf length = redneck
Sleeveless shirt and driving convertible or any Volkswagon = gay
Sleeveless shirt and driving Ford or Chevy truck = redneck

I can't believe there is a topic on this, I love it.
I always assumed Gay, but my husband always wears them ( I think he is straight LOL) and I hate it. I also hate the wife beater / ginni tee's. OOP's I hope I can say that?????? They are OK IMO if you are going to the beach or a pool party. Gay or Straight.... but not when you are going to Lowe's or just anywhere. Yuck, who the hell wants to see what's going on under their arm. I would think the gay man may be more groomed than the straight or redneck guy. So then not as bad.
