I didn't notice the boots as much as I did the sweater and the tights. It was a knockout outfit and would have worked equally as well for a dinner out.
I saw some adorable ones today at Walmart...shimmer ones in gold and silver. Also various colors with patterns. I ,myself prefer regular black ones but the new ones are cute. Might have to buy the silver shimmer ones.
I don't understand why pantyhose are out of style. My feet sweat like crazy, and I hate the shoe sole sticking to my feet. Plus the back of the shoe rubs a hole in my heel. How in the world do women wear those high, high platform heels without pantyhose?
Believe me, if you think pantyhose are uncomfortable, you should have been around in the old garter/girdle days when you used those tab things to keep your stockings up. Talk about agony!
Tights, on the other hand, are usually WAY more comfortable that anything. I'm too fat now to find any tights that fit!

I love the microfiber but the thick cotton tights are good too. I used to wear DKNY tights - but either my behind got bigger or the sizing was changed. The crotch never reaches to the top - never seen DKNY in any size above large.
