How many ounces would it take to cover a 6 foot males abdomen area (area under t shirt)? And how many applications would it take usually to set?

Are you talking about a "self-tanner"? Or a sunbed lotion? I guess it really doesn't matter! About a half-dollar glob should do it, of either kind. If it's the self-tanner, let it dry, before you dress--and the product should tell you how long it takes for a "tan" to develop--all are a bit different. The more often you use a self-tanner, the deeper the tan becomes. If you use it daily for a week or so, you should be getting pretty dark. The self tanners will last about 4-5 days before they start to fade/wash off.
