Way more than I would need.

All I need in the way of clothes is 2 pairs of jeans, 3 T-shirts, and either a flannel shirt or sweatshirt. A couple sets of socks and underwear, a knit hat, and a leather jacket. And a pair of boots.

That should come FAR below $1000.

Wow, all of you really have a want list. I must be odd. I can't think of a thing I want or need. I spend maybe $150.00 a year on clothes and shoes.

I have all the jewelry I want and all the things I need. My husband is one lucky guy.

I would put the money in the bank. I know so boring but very, very happy.

$1000.00 would by me a wardrobe that would take a year to wear it all.

I'm a bargain hunter. I love love love the clearance racks. Don't get me wrong, I could pay full price but that's boring.

I came out of Macy's today with 5 tops and 2 pairs of pants. My total bill was $36.49. If I had paid full price I would have paid $326.47.

So I'd have a whole new wardrobe, inside and out, top to bottom!

Default My turn

I'll have a pair of black Christian Dior Deco Platform Pumps, a Black Halo Ruffle sleeve dress and a black Dior Gaucho leather handbag... thanks. Dressed like that I could go to the Grammy's or somethin! I'll take Robert Downey Jr.... LOL
This was fun to PRETEND!!

But in all actuality I would probably shop at Macy's and get like 4 jeans 6 shirts and a purse or something. There goes the grand!

That's the thing...except for the leather jacket, I already have all the clothes I need. Everything I described is about the amount of clothes I actually own.

Instead of a leather jacket, I have a hoodie for when it gets cold here. Which I put on with my T-shirt and flannel.

$1000 can go pretty fast. I'd buy a leather jacket for about $300, one suit for around $500, and one pair of dress shoes for $200.
