Nope. If you had any real sense of womens' fashions, you would know that thongs were made to eliminate panty lines under clothing. As with any other tiny piece of lingerie, it is also considered a "sexy" item. But, among the females I know that purchase them, the panty line issue is the driving reason.

I'll settle this debate real quick. Boys let their underwear hang out. We men do not.

If it's a guy with a great body, and it's just showing the waistband enough for me to be able to read the brand, yes, I'm a sucker for that look. When it's completely below the buttocks, (I'm looking at you Lil Wayne) it's just ridiculous. Slightly baggy pants are much more comfortable. I still prefer to wear jeans 1 size larger or a very relaxed or baggy fit. And I'm a 32 year old woman.

Agreed.

I hate the style of showing your underwear in public. What also annoys me is when they pop their collars or wear those extremely tight jeans. It's a huge turnoff for me when guys don't wear clothes that fit.

Yes, I agree...a guy with a great body with just the top of his boxers showing is HOT...I'm a 39 year-old woman and I like men, but some young guys are real head-turners when they're dressed like this.

And for the record, I prefer boxers...no tighty-whiteys or boxer-briefs, please.

Well, he wears long, loose T-shirts, so thankfully you can't tell his pants are hanging below his butt-cheeks. I don't know how he can stand it...it's like when a woman can't get her pantyhose to stop sagging-UGH!

I remember my son coming in wearing his pants like that....showing that he can be a reasonable man, my husband said.....I'll give you a choice...you pull them up or I will.

Wisely he pulled them up.

No kid of mine is going to go around looking like a punk.

I was going by a really old movie "clueless" that shows the below the waist fitting pants on the skateboarders. That movie was shot around 94 and released 95? 96?

So how old is this look anyway...no matter WHO started it. It's old. Very old.
