I cleaned out my shoe closet. Dropped off the shoes to goodwill and the vintage store. Then found these really cool booties. I probably didn't need another pair of booties. But I see myself wearing these 2x a week. And they go with my New Year's Eve dress. My purging them was to get rid of stuff that only works in my imaginary life. These are perfect for my real life so they will get years of wear.
I went to a consignment store yesterday to accompany a friend. I wasn't planning on buying anything, just wanted to go out. And then I spotted a fantastic handbag. It turns out it was an almost-brand-new Chloe Shelby bag at a rock bottom price!!
I ordered 3 new pair of jeans to complete the overhaul of my jeans wardrobe. All all my old jeans will go. Some of them are rather elderly, so it is past time.
I am keeping 2 pairs of jeans from the order I placed. They fit great. I sent about 8 pairs of jeans and knit pants to the GW this afternoon. I have 7 new pairs of jeans + a pair I bought last spring and + one pair I bought last fall that I don't like too much, but which I will wear from time to time. So, I'm good through Spring on jeans I think.
