I don't draw my eyebrows.

I wax and pluck them neatly and then trim them a bit. Unless you have translucent blonde eyebrows, that's really all you need!

It's not about being perfect. It's about making the most of what you have.

I'm lucky - my eyebrows have a nice shape naturally. I get them waxed, but in between waxes I pluck the strays with a tweezer. Since I have black hair, I just use a black eyeshadow powder to lightly darken my brows so they match my hair.

No, no, no. Drawn on eyebrows or tattooed eyebrows just don't look soft and natural. At least all the ones I have seen don't. And when you age, they never look good. I don't know why women are doing this. Is it a fad? It just isn't pretty. And never go too thin as your eyebrows continue to thin when you age.

Go to a professional and have them done. Never shave them, tattoo them or draw them on unless you have lost them for some reason.

Just my opinion.

Stick with the eye pencils. Your taste and style in makeup with develop and change over time, so don't lock yourself into anything right now. And be careful not to look too overdone with the face Walmart nails and the eyebrows. Subtle is always a bit more sophisticated.

I say, go to a salon and have 'em waxed. Drawn-on eyebrows remind me of cartoon gangbanger girls. You want to keep them a little thick so you show some kind of expression.

hellothereIN, thank you SO MUCH for that referral! I'm ordering that this upcoming week. Tonight I bought NAIR for facial hair. I ran into a very beautiful, I mean VERY FEMININE BEAUTIFUL, young man (he was gay, just for those wondering, lol) who is a model and he said that he uses NAIR for facial hair. So I'm giving it a shot! If things turn out well, between having no 'shadow' and having pretty eyebrows I'll update my pics

Kristie

ToriaT is on a distinguished road
Around here, many get their eyebrows shaped by waxing by a professional. I have perfectly shaped natural eyebrows but they are too light. I use brow gel which makes them a bit darker and also kind of puts them in a nice shape. Its much easier to use than a pencil and more natural. They have it at Ultra. Several brands to try are Bourjois or Anastasia.

Ulta.com - Cosmetics, Fragrance, Salon and Beauty Gifts

Anastasia has some really good stuff for eyebrows, not just the gel but other things too.
